Arsenal and Man United On The Trail to Sign Thomas Meunier

Failing to get Champions League football next season doesn’t stop Arsenal and Manchester United from planning their future. The two Premier League giants reportedly are ready to compete against each others in the transfer market.

Reports from ESPNFC claiming that both clubs are keen on getting Paris Saint-Germain full back, Thomas Meunier. The French side are open to sell and reportedly demanding a fee around 30 million Euro.

That amount isn’t scaring off the two premier league teams, though the player’s preference is important. Gunners have a slight advantage since their boss, Unai Emery, coached Meunier before at PSG.

Rumors claiming that it was Emery who is behind Arsenal’s plan in getting the Belgium international. Whether that relationship is enough to convince the right back only time can tell.

Man United themselves can also offer many interesting stuff for their target, including potential higher wages. However, unconvincing situation at the club might potentially affecting any potential transfer moves.

The Red Devils disappointing finish into their recent season along with uncertainties regarding their players contract can be a negative rapport. Not only for Meunier, but potential other targets, seeing there might still be lack of stability at Man U.

The player himself in his latest interview is actually keen on staying put at PSG, but not ruling about a potential move away.
