#WinterInOAU is trending on twitter and majorly among the students of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU on the micro-blogging platform.

OLIVERGISTTV reports that the varsity students are in serious panic over threats from cultists that have marked today, June 1st as a day of bloodshed across the school.

The University is currently trending on Twitter with a hashtag #WinterInOAU where several students drop their views on what to expect this period in school.

Below is the message sent to OAU students some weeks ago after a brawl in a concert where Zlatan performed. This is the reason beind #Winterinoau!

However, according to some of the students, the school is safe as several security agents are patrolling round the school to ensure the peace and serenity for the students.

I Don’t Think I Am Successful Yet – Wizkid Reveals His First Big Pay And What He Did With It

Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid is one of the heavyweight afrobeats singers in Africa at the moment.

The starboy spoke to vanguard in a recent interview and he made revelations that really worth broadcasting.

The 29years old singer, claims he is doesn’t think he is successful yet even after all his awards, recognitions and net-worth.

He revealed he is yet to achieve what he would refer to as being successful, describing success as the number of lives one has touched in their career.

He said: “Success is making sure that every African child out there has an opportunity to actually get ahead in life. Success, for me, is touching people’s lives.”

“There are a whole lot of things happening around the world. There’s poverty around the world. I will definitely like to do more. I don’t think I am successful yet, to be frank.”

Asked about the first big money he made as an artiste, he said: “ the first money I ever collected was N250,000; I was so excited, I told my partner at that time; ‘Bro, we started this music hustle with nothing, now we are able to make N250,000.”

“If we are able to really make this kind of money, I think we can touch a million US Dollars.”

Speaking on his assessment of the music industry, he said “ I never really thought we would make the hits we are making right now. Things have changed immensely in the last couple of years.”

The superstar stated that the biggest challenges he faces in the music industry is piracy, adding that much money is not made when their works are being pirated.

He further said “It’s not easy running a record label in this country without government funding and support. It is also okay for more corporate brands to step in and support the artistes.”

US Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein allegedly Commits Suicide in Manhattan Prison

US billionaire, 66, Jeffrey Epstein has reportedly committed suicide at the Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Center where he was being held without bail after being arrested on 6th July for child sex trafficking.

According to The Independent, Epstein reportedly hung himself overnight and was found dangling by 7:30 a.m on Saturday, August 10. He was transported from jail to New York Downtown Hospital where he was found to be in cardiac arrest at the time of arrival before being confirmed dead.

Before this incident, Epstein was placed on suicide watch.

Manhattan federal prosecutors charged Epstein with sex trafficking of girls as young as 14, and details of his behaviour have been emerging for years.

The financier with opulent homes, a private jet and access to elite circles, had been dogged for decades by accusations that he had paid dozens of girls for sexual acts in Florida.

The one-time friend of Bill Clinton and Donald Trump faced a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison.
